Garage Door Opener / Repairman suggestion?

Our single garage door opener was installed with our new home 3 years ago. We have had issues with it ever since it was installed, especially when it's hot outside. It will not close if the unit gets too hot, for whatever reason. Now it won't even close when forcing the unit by holding the main button in the garage. Has anyone used a local repair service they can suggest?

Not sure about 'openers' , is there a battery that needs replacing?

We had garage doors installed and serviced by Overhead Custom Doors. Maybe they can help. They've been out twice, once the spring broke and recently one of the cables broke. They are reasonable, both times service call and repairs were like $125-$150. They even came on a Sat the last time at no extra charge. Sorry, I don't have their # handy.

Lowe's does installation - perhaps they do repair too?
