did a search on the Cat footwear retail locator site.... here you go http://www.catfootwear.com/Locator/LocatorResults.aspx?PostalCode=27603&Radius=40
Just in case you are still looking, my husband used to work at Cat in Raleigh at Gregory Poole and they have a retail store that anybody can go in and buy stuff from. Try there, that is where he always got his. Well there and Red Wings-- the shoe store on Wilmington Street across from the Bojangles and beside the Cook Out before heading into downtown.
I agree with KB, I have seen them in Wal Mart too. It would have probably been the one in Clayton, possibly Smithfield.
Gregory Poole over by the fairgrounds is an authorized Cat dealer and they have a store where you can buy all the Cat appearal and footwear you want. Mike
If you don't find the Cat boots he is looking for, try Timberland Pro series. They are expensive but DH will wear nothing else. After years of him having to wear work boots everyday and trying every brand, these are the keepers.
We started out 8 years ago with Timberland and he hates them. The i-lets (sp) would break and then he'd have to wrap his shoe strings which were a mile long around the boot. LMAO. It looked so stupid. Redwings - he paid $250 for a steel toe pair last year and they are too heavy and too hot for the summer. He wants something he can wear with shorts. He's not actually doing a lot of crawling under houses this year. I'll try Shoe Deopt and Gregory Poole. THANK YOU!
Girl, they have them @ Sears at Cary Towne Center or Crabtree.... and you dont have to go inside the mall to access either store. I looked (and posted) the 'retail locator' from the Caterpillar website....and all Sears stores carry them....they'll be cheaper there too I would imagine.
I never got an answer yesterday at Sears in the *shoe* department. I've got a list of places for DH to go. :hurray:
There are different grades of every brand. My dh will only buy the "pro" series. They cost most of course. Wolverine is another good name brand work boot. He had some with shock absorber insoles that lastest a good while. Good luck with the search.
