Anyone have experience with this medicine with their children?

    new meds

My son started this med about 2 months ago. He had recently been on Daytrana (aka patch). We are very happy so far with it and how it affects him. His focus and attention are even better and with it being a 12 hour med home life is smoother as well.

    Hope this helps

Vyvanse has none of the side effects that we had previously experianced. Seems to truely be an extened time release, unlike some others we have tried. I am pleased with the results we are seeing. Keep in mind it may take some time to get the right dose for each individual. Most Doctors start on the lower dose and work up.

I agree Karen, that docs do work up so you may not see a difference right away in this med. Haven't personally used this one w/ any of my kids but have heard good things about it. Just know, they do start low. And some meds, like Strattera, will have 6 to 8 weeks of build up before in the system. Good luck. It is always hard during the trial period of new meds.
