    :hurray:

OJ Simpson has been found guilty on 12 charges of armed robbery, conspiracy to kidnap and assault with a deadly weapon by a court in the US city of Las Vegas.
The former US football star and actor was accused of robbing two sports memorabilia dealers a year ago.
The armed robbery charges carry a mandatory jail sentence, and kidnapping carries a possible life term.

It looked as though he turned his back to the jury during all of this. Seems pretty strange, like a child.

The evidence was compelling. I think it was obvious to just about everyone that Simpson had gotten to the point where he thought he was untouchable and his arrogance made him foolish enough to think that he could march into a hotel with security cameras and simply get by with it.

I know today probably is a good day for the Goldmans and Browns. Here it is almost 15 years later (not quite), and his actions that most believe he got away with has finally caught up with him. If it had not been for the conviction in the civil case years ago, this wouldn't have come about. Ultimately, his inability to deal with civil verdict will likely either put him away for life or most of it.

I wonder if he is going to go down in prison (no pun intended!!), or still be a celebrity.

And then the appeal. You reckon any judge will be naive enough (read stupid) to let him out on bail?

Poor OJ, for almost the last decade he's been searching one posh golf course after another in efforts to hunt down Nicole's killer, I was certain he was closing in

Maybe now his property in Florida will be sold off and the family of Ron Goldman will get some of the 8.5 million they were awarded in the civil trial.

I'm sure the kids will breathe easier now that it's over. I'd read they were both in college now and embarrassed by OJ's latest run in with the law. I can't even imagine what it must have been like for them to have to live with him, especially after he wrote that disgusting book.

Those kids and Ron and Nicoles families - my heart broke for all of them. Nothing will ever bring them back, but if it's possible for them to know what's going on, I'm sure they're resting in peace now.

I'll tell ya, if anyone was railroaded it was "poor" Mr. Stewart.
