I saw the advertisement for this sale and wondered if anyone has ever been.....its at the Smithfield Armory. My daughter is now a teen and we have lost of toys and wondered if this sale was worth it.........pros and cons from anybody who has shopped or sold at this sale?
I sold clothing last year in the spring sale, I had been storing 3 years of clothes and decided to let some of it go. I did okay in sales, but had a lot of stuff left over. Of all the items I sold, most were name brand, like new, clothing and infant sleepers with little wear. They had tons of clothing in all sizes and toys last year. I did not go back and buy anything, so I can't comment on the actual sale itself. Just FYI, there are several different consignments coming up in this area if anyone is interested, below are a few I've seen: **March 13-14 - Cary Masonic Lodge - http://www.upscaleresale4kids.com/ **March 17-20 - Life Spring Community Church, Fuquay Varina - http://just4kidsnc.googlepages.com/nextsale **March 19-21 - Hayes Barton Church, Glenwood Ave, Raleigh - http://www.trianglemom2mom.com/event/kids-stuff-consignment-sale-raleigh-0 **March 21-27 - Morrisville Outlet Mall - http://www.kidseverywear.biz **April 3-5 - Cleveland Rd - Cleveland Gymnasium - www.next2new4kids.com
I have bought & sold items in the Carolina Kids sale. I had a lot of items left over after the sale, too -- I think people shopping at that one are really looking for dirt-cheap bargains & I priced mine a little too high. :banghead: As for buying, you have to plan to spend some time there. There are some really good deals, but you have to sift through EVERYTHING. I think it's worth the time, definitely. Also, I highly recommend the sale coming up in Morrisville. It's worth the short drive to the airport area.
