Mine is driving me up the wall :x The very next day after washing,it already looks and feels awful again, like there is some kind of film or residue on it. From what I read online it could have something to do with having hard water. We have county water. I did a vinegar rinse yesterday (6 parts of water to 1 part vinegar) but there's no difference. I've also read about charcoal faucet filters but have not tried that yet. At one time I thought it might be hormones but that would not explain why my husband is having the same problem :? I'm just wondering if we are the only two in this area who are experiencing this:?: I read where some people buy distilled water to wash their hair with but that would be a last alternative.
i think your hair just have to get used to the water - when we first moved here the first 2 1/2 years we lived in a house with a well - my hair totally freaked out for the first year but eventually it settled back down again - now i am on county water and no problems - i did use a lot of intense conditioner that first year:lol:

When I had trouble with my hair/scalp, I realized that I had yeast build up. So I purchased Nizoral shampoo. It's over the counter with the other dandruff shampoo. The bottle is in a box on the top shelf at Target. It has really helped the shine of my hair and scalp. B/c of my medical condition, I have it on hand at all times. But now I use my old regular shampoo! I've used the Nizoral once this year. ) I was using it three times a week!
