pcv valve help

  1. I'm replacing my pcv valve but I can't seem to the old one out. I tried using needle-nose pliers and it won't budge. Any pointers? I've been under my hood now for an hour and I'm not happy.

You might try angled nose pliers instead of needle nose, they'll let you pull out more directly on the PCV, instead of pulling at an angle.

  4. Thanks guys -I got it. I think it was easier when it was warmer outside. Now I just need to get the valve into the upper hose.
