Two enthusiastic thumbs up. Must be seen in 3 D. It was amazing!! Kinda scary for littler kids though. We really enjoyed it and will see it again ASAP. :hurray::hurray::hurray:
Loved It!! Disney's new Christmas Carol 3D movie was spectactular. I watched it at the Imax last night with my 10 and 9 year olds. It really is a big freaky for little ones though, even my nine year old was a little scared.
thanks for the reviews, I have a question is it just a few scenes that might be a bit scary. I am debating on taking my almost 6 year old son to see it tomorrow he really doesn't scare easy but I wanted a few other opinions Thanks
My 9yo is out. He got scared on Halloween and slept with me that night. No haunted houses or nothing. Just a scary night. It was a welcome event for me as I miss them being babies. But not so for him. I think we'll have to pass on the movie. pppbbbtt Yes, yes... I know... My apron strings are a little tight.
If he doesn't scare easy, it should be fine. The ghosts were kinda creepy though. There was a little kid probably 5 or 6 sitting next to me and although he jumped a few times, he didn't seem "scared."
I am thinking of taking the kids to see this tomorrow at the IMAX, if my loan goes thru to take them.
It's totally worth it. Took 2 kids and 2 adults to see it in 3D at White Oak, it was $45. I about fell out. But I didn't mind so much after the movie was over. Wish I'd have gone to IMAX, may yet do so.
I hear ya - I think that's why call it IMAX. You have to MAX out an account to pay those ticket prices.
I went to the IMAX and saw it last Saturday. It was worth the few extra bucks to see it BIG and 3D! The details on the characters were amazing and very realistic. You could see the hairs on the end of Scrooge's nose and his pores! Saw the 9 o'clock show and it did start a little late, but well worth it.
