MS Office - Set auto Format

    using MS Office 2003:

    I would like to format the; "File" - "New Document" menu to load a blank, personally formatted (page setup), document?

    Also, can I set "File" - "New Document" to give me a menu with multiple choices of different formated documents?

    If not by preference menu choice; are there any macro's you know of that will work?

    PS: I've scanned the help menu without finding the answer. If anyone knows what header topic I should choose, I can find it from there.

    Which program are you referring to? In Word you can create templates

    if memory serves (don't have MS word available at the moment) the default "new document" template is Normal.dot, you should be able to overwrite it, or whatever the default is, with one of your own making.

    BTW to make a document template, just create a document and format it according to your preferences, then "Save As.." template.

    Sorry for the delay in responding. Got a bad trojan on my personal PC this week.

    Templates did the job !!! Thanks!!!

    No problem. Sometimes real life gets in the way of cyberspace ;).

    Glad you got it worked out. I like MS Office but sometimes getting it to do what I want is the challenge.
