This might be a dumb question, but thought I'd give it a shot. Is there anyplace online that I can (legally) get free movies. I just want to watch them on my iphone while working out. I know I can rent them through itunes, but don't want to pay. :) TIA

I've seen some rumors of an iPhone app to work with Hulu, but since I don't have an iPhone, I don't know the status of it.

There's an app I have on my G1 called TV.com. I don't know if it has movies, but it has old shows like the Twighlight Zone, etc. But you need WiFi cause they're streamed.

If you really want to do it right you can rip DVDs w/ DVD Decrypter and then format them for the iPhone w/ Handbrake. It can take a while learning the program and ripping/converting them.

Whoa Quincy...you're way over my head! But thanks for the info.

I just checked the app store for Hulu and also did a search for free movies. All I find is apps to search for movies playing/theaters nearby or trailers for movies. Guess I'll just stick with watching Youtube clips, that's been keeping me pretty entertained.

    Love my Iphone!!!

now they're owned by comcast. i'll give them about a year before they really start sucking to the degree that you HAVE to get cable again.

I have seen their offerings get better, I would even pay a subscription fee if I had the right setup and they had a little more variety. But... you're probably right. :(

I keep seeing blurbs that Hulu is going to start charging, that it won't be free anymore. Maybe it's rumors/speculation? I haven't researched further becasue I don't use the site.
