Whoo hoo..Kyle got to meet Garth Brooks last night at a GoCart track. Kyle said he was there with his family (although Kyle did not know Trisha Yearwood was also a star). He got to talk to him about the military and was thanked for serving and got his autograph. He even got one for me!!! The kids was so excited that he called me at 3AM and 4AM. Speaking of Kyle, he gets to go for his E4 stripe soon. He is excited about that. He also has been pretty nervous about the daddy thing. His fiance has been having labor pains, although each time she has gone it, it has been false labor. This past week she had to spend the night in the hospital. In less than a week she went from 25% efaced to 75%. She has dropped and is dialted to 2 so far. She is not actually due until next month, but from the looks of things, we thinki she is going to deliver early. We thought maybe last night because her pains were 4 minutes apart, but her doctor sent her home and told her is was false labor again. So won't be much longer before I become a grandma. LOL Anywho, just wanted to share this about Kyle. I thought it was so cool that he got to have this experience.
Kyle cannot quit talking about Garth. He said he was really nice about everything and seemed very sincere when he thanked Kyle. I am just waiting for him to send me my autograph!!! LOL Thanks Tassy ~ right now his fiance is back in Lincolnton with her grandparents. Think she will be having the baby any time. Don't think she is going to make it to her due date. We may bring her here to live with us until they get married if things keep going like they have been going with her uncle that lives with her grandparents also. From what she has told me he has told her grandparentsl if they don't get her the "f" out that he is going to kill her, he has banged on her bedroom door and told her he was going to kill her and what is sad is her grandparents don't do anything. I think they are scared of him. I had thought about calling and reporting this, but I was not there, so it is hearsay and if they don't want to persue it, there isn't much I can do. None of us like the situation there at all. But we will see. I am actually getting excited about being a grandma. Can't wait to get my hands on the baby and spoil it rotten! :twisted:
