OK, all you techies...I need to hook a DVD player to a TV. The DVD has the red, yellow and white plugs, but the TV only has a cable input. Everything I have read and even Radio Shack tried to tell me, I need an RF modulator. But, I'm not sure that is the right thing because there is no "cable TV" installed in the room. I thought years ago, we bought my son an adapter for one of his video games that just had the red, white and yellow inputs on one end and a cable plug on the other.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have an old VCR with the RWY you can run in between the DVD and TV? I had the same issue with Wulf Jr's setup in his room and I was able to run it that way successfully.

The wizeazz answer is to buy a new tv that can fully display the content contained on a DVD as any TV old enough to have just a coax cable connection cannot.

but in an honest answer to your question there are converter boxes that can be bought, however if you are going that route you might was well buy a cheap VCP to function in the same capacity and gain an additional function over having just a plain dvd player.
