I get so many junk emails, like 75 or 100 a day. I have centurylink internet. Is there any way to stop these? Can I change my email address? I use my computer for entertainment and communication. I don't know much about the technical part of computers. Pat
Use the link below for a number of suggestions from CenturyLink on how to control SPAM: http://www.centurylink.com/help/help/index.php?assetid=122 Also, your email client, like Outlook, will have additional filters you can use to remove the junk email from your inbox.
You can go to www.centurylink.net and login, then click on the "my account" tab at the top of the page. From there you can add/delete mailboxes. I would set myself up a new one for real non-spam emails, and keep using the other one for junk.
I have several e.Mail addresses. One for personal mail, several I use to answer adds, one for fun things, one for more information and one for technical use. I have Hotmail, Outlook, Lycos, Yahoo, Gmail and 40-42 e.Mail accounts. All have good and bad ideas.
