Here's the sales flyer for the corner lot where Scooter's was planned. They even include the already-approved site plans, so it really does seem like they just suddenly woke up and realized "this is the wrong side of the road for a coffee shop".
So does that mean Scooters has bailed out? Their location on Hwy 70 is on a similar corner lot, and it's just awkward. Guess they figured one travesty is enough?
I doubt any of us know for sure, but it sure appears that Scooter's isn't happening. They are a chain with 900 stores, so I'm sure it's up to whoever locally wanted to own a franchise. Maybe whoever buys the property could pick up where the last person left off and continue to invest in a Scooter's. I don't know...

I wish they would have put more focus on the trails in the first phase instead of the basketball courts. It would have been cheaper and more people would have been able to use the park from the start.
