I was wondering if it is possible to add a second tower to one of my monitors, speakers and stuff? Would that work or would I have to buy a whole new set up for the second tower? The reason I want to do it this way is because I already have 2 computer set ups in my office and don't really have the space to add another desk but I am in need of another computer . The man who does all my upgrades and stuff says it would just be cheaper to buy a whole new set up. Anybody know if it can be done? And if so could I use the same scanner/printer?

Alrighty, thanks. The man I spoke to was saying it would cost me around 800 bucks for him to set it up that way and something about adding cables. I think this will work out better. I am gonna call and ask him if he will just do the labor and I buy the equipment. I thought there was a easier way but wasn't sure.

I spoke with him he is suppose to be getting back with me. I think he may have mistakenly thought I was wanting to buy a new tower from him( he builds & sales them) and that maybe where that price came from. If that is his price with just hooking it all up then I will be contacting you. I already looked at some computers and have a way to get a good deal on the tower through a friend. My problem will be with actually putting it all together. I can go buy it but once I get it here I will be lost.

That's what I have, it makes it easy for me to do data entry on the corp website while looking at scanned in documents from my reps. DH got a KVM switch like Ken's talking about. I love it.

Talk to KEN! He knows his stuff.

BRS' Tiger Direct recommendations work great. However, I would think, if anything, you would want two monitors for one PC. But as you said, you already have most of what you need for two systems. Two PCs can be a great plus for several reasons, redundancy, connectivity and networking experimentation, troubleshooting. etc.

I have 2 PCs and three monitors and don't know what I'd do with just one!

    Yes -

Crysis is an outstanding game, with graphics that must be seen to be believed.

The HUGE caveat is, you MUST have a very powerful PC, and most especially, a VERY powerful video card to even hope to experience the full graphic capability of the game. I have a nvidia 8800 GTS w/ 512 ram, and it just squeaks by with frame rates around 35 on the high settings at 1024x768.
