Anyone know of any good sales going on this weekend for boys/young teens clothes for summer? Mostly jean shorts.

jean shorts I don't know. mine wont wear them, they have to have the plaid board shorts or cargo shorts. Aeropostle had all their shorts for $17.99, JCpenney's has all their's on sale (I am sure they have jean shorts).

I like the jean ones too. But DS 1&2 love those plaid ones. They are much cooler they say, temp wise. I let them wear what they want. Long as their fanny is covered. Kohl's is having a good sale too. JC Penney is by far the best for deals though, IMO, for boys.

Walmart had varying things on sale yesterday. Lots of clearance racks and lot so things "hidden." Socks were $1.50 for 2 pair. I got 5 shirts and they were just $1.00 each. can't even buy the material for a buck to make it. I also go the girls some pants but they will have to try on. They were $5.00. Didn't have time to look too much but saw lots of signs. Might want to check it out.

    Happy shopping.

Which walmart? we were at the one in Clayton last night. Wasn't too impressed with the clearance racks.

It was the one in Clayton. It's always hit or miss. I didn't have a whole lot of time to look as I was getting surgery the next day. Just happen to be in a few isles and glance. Some of the prices on the clothes were lower than what was marked on the clearance sign as well.

Oh, and I went to the Walgreens(nothing like a 1:00am run for antibiotics for your kid--LOL) and found some stuff in the isles as well. Near the dollar spot isle. Some odds and ends I could use so not too bad. Hey, best time to pick up scripts or get them filled is definitely in the wee hours of the morning.

Keep posting us on some sales folks. My older girls are in dire need of clothes. Anyone know of any good consignment shops around for older teenage girls stuff?

Oh, remember to clean out your closets this weekend. The NC Childrens' Promise is coming by on Monday. They will pick up clothes, furniture, etc. left out by your mailbox. Good to donate to. Just thought I'd let folks know. You should have gotten a slip in your mailbox about 2 weeks ago.

    Happy shopping.

I think they already came through my neighborhood, so double check that.

I took our oldest son to American Eagle today.. He was able to find plaid shorts for 14.99 each. He was really happy especially since he was spending his own money..

I love the plaid shorts as well (for me and the girls). Next month is budgeted summer shopping month, so glad to know all the places that the girls like are having sales. Aero, Hollister, A&E, PacSun...need I go on? Now I love me some Old Navy, and the girls will wear their stuff too. The little one ain't that picky yet, but the oldest loves those stores above.8)
