Santa Clause (disguised as Nevilock's Mom & Dad) brought me an awesome new printer for Christmas! Isn't that cool?

My old HP Deskjet 812C still works fine. Anybody have use for it?

Yes, it prints in color and B&W. I might have a spare ink cartridge I can throw in, too. You know where I live, let me know when you're going to be in the area and you can come by and pick it up.

Speaking of printers, ran across this today. For anybody that does a moderate amount of printing (a great printer for the kids homework, etc) this is a great price, and shipping is free:

They have a network version available also:

Yes...when you replace the toner cartridge you will pay almost that much! Like the ink jet printers, they are "giving away" the printer and making their money on the consumables.

You can always recharge those tonner cartridges for about $20.

I haven't bought an ink cartridge or toner cartridge in over 4 years. Except for the ones on clearance for a few bucks. The ink in the cartridge is worth more than that so I recycle it to my cartridges. Diligence is the key to keeping a cartridge in working order for a long time though.
