Does anyone use this? I'm looking for ways to streamline my cleaning (short of paying someone, of course). I've incorporated the flylady stuff, but I saw an ad for the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner, and wondered it if really worked. http:\\AutomaticShowerCleaner.com is what I'm referring to.... Jan oh, and any other quick tip ways to clean anything would be wonderful!
I've used these things and I think they are ok. You still have to scrub the shower but maybe not quite as often.
It is ok... but the replacement refills are expensive. (the sell them at BJs) Also, I have had problems with the batteries not lasting too long, but any help I can get with cleaning I will take.
I found Comet spray cleaner. The cheapest I found it is at Dollar General, but I buy like 2 every time I am in there. I spray it all over the shower, even on the water spout and knobs, and the grime just melts away. Beware, you have to rinse this off. My husband almost killed himself after I cleaned and didn't rinse. It is so slippery. But, you don't have to really scrub. I do wipe off the dirtiest areas, but it doesn't take much scrubbing. It works a lot better than the Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner.
Scrubbing Bubbles is my fav but I'll have to check out the Comet. TIA. SIDE BAR- My Mom tld me she would brush my teeth w/ COMET (the old school power) if I got a bad dentist check up. I still brush like I am scrubbing the walls.
I am bzzing the shower cleaner right now..I have coupons if you decide to try one. I am still not sure how I feel about it. The cleanser runs out quicker than I would have thought and I am still seeing alot of build up on the shower door. I do like the way it makes my bathroom smell, but other than that I dont know that I will continue to use it after this trial. my 2 cents.
...easiest way to clean a shower?! Do it nekkid. After you wash you, use a soapy cloth and wipe down the tub and shower. You're already in there... you're already wet... ...takes about two minutes. It'll be nice and shiney ... jes like yer hiney. :jester:
I fear for you, dude. If she catches wind of this thread she'll use your toothbrush for the detail work. (Here's a hint; if there's a day she doesn't kiss you goodbye, she's already done it.)
My wife is low maintenance and has a sense of humor (has to have one to be married to me). She isn't going anywhere. Greased Lightning is the bomb. Gives a great buzz along with a sparkling shower!
Thanks for the tip about Comet brand because it works way better than the Tilex I was using. I bought it at Dollar General also.
