    Just curious, how do you pronounce the word?

    I say Q-pon, but my DH likes to tease and always asks if I have my koo-pun book with me.

    Koo-pon or Q-pon :) I pronounce it both ways...depends on how is comes out.

    Oops, I forgot to include my vote. I say "koo-pon" (my husband says "que-pon"). :)

    you forgot one.... KOO-PINS. :lol: like from wisconsin.

    And I don't know how I say it...I tried to say it out loud when I was reading the thread and it came out both ways! :oops: :lol:

    I think I say it Q-pons though. :?

    Ha! I never knew wisconsiners pronounced it koo-pins... I do that now and then just for grins and giggles.

    I did the same thing you did, Koo ... tried to say it out loud, and it came out both ways! I even took one in my hand, held it up in front of me, and talked to it. "You are a coupon.". "Coupon".

    I am constantly giving my mom a hard time cause she says it Que-pons. I'm like there is no Q in COUPONS! lol She also used to say Gararge, Sarterday, and Zeinfeld. I don't know what planet that woman is from, but I love her! LOL

    I hear Sherry pick on her home state that way. Sherry from mix 101.5. That's what made me think of it.

    "Your a coupon." too flippin' funny... talking to a coupon! :lol:

    That's almost as bas as a friend of mine's mom from Germany. She calls Oil, Earl. :D

    I gre up in Milwaukee and never heard it with the "I", but definately with a "Koo" as in I scored one!

    maybe I broke it down wrong... how about KOO-PENS KOO-PUNS? Anywho... I just think it's fun listening to other accents. I know people get me to repeat myself because of my southern draw sometimes. Water is a biggie! It's WUDDER people! :lol: I mean webster REALLY just needs to go ahead and change the spelling! :lol:
