I'm not sure if this posting is appropriate for this forum. If not, my apologies Appcomm and I understand if it's deleted.

I know of many family members, friends, etc. discouraged with their lack of computer knowledge. If you know of anyone interested in learning, (especially Senior Citizens) please pass on this information. It is a last minute class and although the demand is growing, the class wasn't advertised and we need students to fill some seats!

Johnston Community College Cleveland Campus will start a Senior Citizen's Computer Basics/Intro to Word class on Monday, October 31, 2005.

Class Description: This class is designed at a slower pace to give students hands-on training with Computers and Microsoft Word. Students will learn computer basics and achieve the understanding of how to manage documents with specific time savers such as deletions, moving, cutting and pasting, how to set margins and tabs, create envelopes and labels from tables and more.

When: 6 weekly classes, starting Monday, Oct. 31-Dec. 12, 2005
    Time: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Where: JCC Cleveland Campus, Computer Lab
Fee: $25.00 (Fee EXEMPT if 65 years of age or older) and $2.00 Technology fee (non-exempt fee).

To Register: Call 919-209-2034 by Friday, October 28, 2005.

    Thanks!
