Cool-I just watched a thing on Yahoo about cooking using dollar store ingredients versus high end cooking. Think they cooked same meal $114 versus $24. Check it out. I guess I'll have to pick up more from dollar store than cheap gift bags.

The dollar store in Clayton by Walmart now has an actual grocery section, complete with milk, butter, waffles, sausage, small of course, but still, if you need something quick, cheap and don't want to go into a packed grocery store...I haven't bought anything there yet, and I would definitely check the dates on everything...

Definitely check the dates. I bought some lunchables there a while back, and some of them were out of date. So, now I make sure and check the dates before I buy them. It usually means digging through them all to find the good ones.
