Help! I accidentally said "no" to saving a file I was working on in Word....is there any way to recover it?

Was working on a new document. I went to close it and when it said "do you want to save this document?" I hit no instead of yes. Got in a hurry. It did not autosave, and it's not in the recycle bin. I tried to recover it from Temporary files, but it's jumbled. I see the file, but can't read it.

No luck so far. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll search the web. Was just taking a chance someone may know a quick fix. May just have to bite the bullet and start over.

I think word does make a temp. but deletes it when you say "no" on exit.

Right click on the START button. Go to EXPLORE. Go to DOCUMENTS & SETTINGS in the directory. Click on ADMINISTRATOR then APPLICATIONS then MICROSOFT then WORD. You will see files like "~WRL0953.tmp". Double click these files till you find the right one. The file will only be there if you worked on the document and you left the PC and your screen hibernated. Sometimes it is there anyway. I don't know the specifics on when it saves.

If you don't find them under ADMINISTRATOR try the other USERS listed in your DOCUMENTS & SETTINGS directory.

    Hope this helps.
