OK I was just sitting working as usual and all of a suden my speakers stopped and my mouse froze - clt/alt/dlt wouldnt even work. So I had to manually turn off the puter........ I have a really silly question... how are you still typing on here?  I know I know... another comptuter. Obviously! just being silly. Sorry for the crash.
You know KooKoo - sometimes are just not the right times for haha!! I am freaking out as the computer that just stopped is my business computer and yes I am on another computer right now - my husbands. Please Please someone anyone, I have unplugged/replugged everthing and tried to start up again, no even a signal getting to the monitor now!!! HELP!
ease up babe! PM Ken or Romworks. Buffalo.com in Dunn makes house calls. They are pretty dang good if you ask me. And pretty reasonable. 910-891-4658 AGAIN sorry for the crash...
Yes, KooKoo you can giggle again!!! Just remember its not nice to kick a when their down, claws are usually the first line of defense!
ummmm not sure - he took out the video card - sprayed everything out and put the card back in and it worked. Must have been dust or somehow it got loose and shorted out. I am just glad that it was nothing major. Anyway he also cleaned up some other stuff and gave me some pointers on new video cards, ram for my DH's puter! I'm a happy camper!
Thanks Ken, I appreciate it. Just has to reseat the video card. Cleaned out some dust bunnies. Nothing major. Ran some cleanup utilities and deleted a few GB worth of "junk" off the PC's. Thanks Traveler giving me a call. I will have your receipt emailed shortly. Randy
This seems to be a common problem - or is it just with those of us who have animals? Before I met Romworks, a PC tech serviced my computer and told me I was lucky I didn't have a fire
You be amazed at what winds up in your PC. This little field mouse made it in but when leaving he found that stepping on a hot contact and then grounding to the case will ruin your whole day and the PC. Maybe I can take all those old PC's I have and make a mouse trap out of them!!!!
Wow! I vacuum some HUGE dust bunnies out of ours, but have yet to see a real critter in there!
yes they are! I was just tring to break the monotony... as I sometimes try to do. You are officially now on the 'Do not touch in crisis' list.
I have never had the "pleasure" of seeing a mouse in a system. But I have seen many systems shorted out by roaches inside.
