    PM Ken or Romworks.

Buffalo.com in Dunn makes house calls. They are pretty dang good if you ask me. And pretty reasonable. 910-891-4658

ummmm not sure - he took out the video card - sprayed everything out and put the card back in and it worked. Must have been dust or somehow it got loose and shorted out.

I am just glad that it was nothing major. Anyway he also cleaned up some other stuff and gave me some pointers on new video cards, ram for my DH's puter!

    I'm a happy camper!

    Thanks Ken, I appreciate it.

Just has to reseat the video card. Cleaned out some dust bunnies. Nothing major. Ran some cleanup utilities and deleted a few GB worth of "junk" off the PC's.

Thanks Traveler giving me a call. I will have your receipt emailed shortly. :)

This seems to be a common problem - or is it just with those of us who have animals? Before I met Romworks, a PC tech serviced my computer and told me I was lucky I didn't have a fire

You be amazed at what winds up in your PC. This little field mouse made it in but when leaving he found that stepping on a hot contact and then grounding to the case will ruin your whole day and the PC. Maybe I can take all those old PC's I have and make a mouse trap out of them!!!!

I have never had the "pleasure" of seeing a mouse in a system. But I have seen many systems shorted out by roaches inside.
