Error Message

    I get this message when I am on secure sites. It will close explorer everytime. I have tried to the secure sites on mozilla but it doesnt work. Please help! Thank you in advance

    Sounds like a BHO error. It would really help if you listed what OS your using. (XP Home - XP Pro _ Media Center & the SP version??) And also list the IE version your running. Without that info it's like asking us to tell you whats wrong with your PC while wearing a blindfold.

    The BHO tries to modify certain system files and Windows Registry entries that require administrative credentials to access. As a result, when the BHO cannot access these files and registry entries, Internet Explorer stops abruptly.

    You can try running Hijackthis (link below) After loading, run the program and use the "run and save log". Paste that log to a post here and I will tell you which ones to remove.

    Sorry, I forgot to add: Are you using any YAHOO Toolbars or mesaging? Or have you uninstalled any of those lately? Many people will tell you YAHOO is ok, don't believe them. YAHOO is no better than spyware, they're just more polite in stealing your usage info.
