Just wanted to start a new thread focused on finding Daniel. Let's get away from the back and forth... from discussing who was right and who was wrong. For now, I just want to find my son. I'm sure he doesn't want to be found, but there's just too much crud out there that a 16 year old can get mixed up with - I can't just do nothing and wait and hope for him to come home. If you have info, ideas, suggestions, questions that are unrelated to other parties who might be involved, etc., please post here. Let's leave other discussion to the other thread. Vigil will be held at 8:00pm on Sunday the 8th at Ashley Turner Plaza. This may have come up...but does he have a best friend, any friends that may know something. Have you talked to them. What are his favorite hang outs, is there anywhere he likes to go when he feels that he needs to be alone.

yes bc they both just did a story on that girl that was "missing" but she had ran away from home too, i think she was from Franklinton maybe??
We are a family of 4 and we live near WJHS and Daniel.....if you are reading the threads....you know that your family and friends loves you and want you to be safe. Maybe your not hiding in someone's house but you can't be out on the streets at nite...its dangerous. I am here to offer you a place to stay and work things out with your family (if that is okay with your parents) and that is the only way it will happpen. Daniel, can't you see that your family is hurting.....its enough, it has to stop. You can Pm me

To TJ I meant what I said..... If he is on the streets...we need to get him off of it and maybe with a stranger helping out, it will work. Cross your fingers.
I've talked to all his friends. The sheriff's dept has spoken to most. I've checked all his usual haunts. No one remembers seeing him in the last several weeks.
All three local TV stations have been contacted. WRAL, WTVD, NBC17. They don't really cover runaways. I'm hoping the vigil will attract some attention.

YES, I saw it on several different channels. How they call him a runaway? Did he leave a note? Until you hear from him, I don't think they could classify something that is so convenient to fly under the radar.
