Do you use them? What do you use yours for. I'm wondering if I might find them useful too. Radio Shack has them for $9.99 (1GB only but they have all the way up to 8GB for $59.99)
You may find that you can use your cell phone for the same purpose. A lot of cells these days will accept a microSD memory card. When you attach your cell to the PC via a USB cable, you can access the memory card on it just like a flash drive. You can find microSD cards a lot of times at Buy.com or Ebay for around $10 for 1gb. If you go for the flash drive, check to see if the one you are buying has security built into it if you are worried about somebody seeing the data you carry around on it. (Flash drives tend to be left behind or lost quite easily.) Flash drives with security will, when plugged into the PC, pop up a screen requesting a password before it can be accessed.
Seems silly but I use mine to transfer files from my computer to a clients. I love my $40,000.00 Google Flash Drive and it holds a whole 128 meg, which is at least 100 meg more than I need it to do.
for the cellphone solution, kinston has a really nice combo. 1gb microSD and a tiny usb microSD reader. lets you use it in either form just as easily. when its in the reader, it acts just like a jump drive. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowI...+1GB+MicroSD+SDC+Card+Reader+w/EMusic+Content
