    ok, here's my issue.

My C drive memory is 3/4 free although my D drive is 2/3 full. If I format my D drive will it "erase" everything in C and D? How does this work exactly? Does it even matter that the D drive is so full?

I have some large NLE programs on the computer and I am getting ready to put the whole Adobe creative suite on it as well. I just want it run the best it can.

    thanks.

ok, I just want to make sure I am not having to break out those recovery cd's! I'll start looking at what junk needs to be removed and maybe that will help instead of formatting just yet.

    thanks devilock

well I looked to see what I could possibly get rid of and it seems I use ALL of it. I have a couple NLE's, graphic design and website programs. All huge of course. How do I increase the drive size? take it out pull it like taffy or something?

    Okay Ken,

Speaking of formatting, how do you format an additional drive in 98Se, to I believe NTFS, so I can install Linux (DSL) on it.
