I get all these e-mails claiming that if I forward to so many people something great/funny will appear on my computer screen. I always delete these e-mails. Some have been forwarded 10-20 times. Thousands of e-mail addresses. No one copies and pastes and uses bcc when sending e-mail to multiple recipients. But my question is, will something appear on my screen if I did forward these e-mails?
Tell your friends who forward them to you that they are perpetuating an idiotic movement. Also tell them if they tag your name to another group list that you will never speak to them again. Group lists are email spammers dreams. I'd voice my opinion about those people who forward all this crap with their friends email address tagged to it, but then half of this nation would be offended. The defined answer to preventing SPAM: 1. Create 3 email addresses. 2. The first email address is used for: a. New people you really don't know or can trust. (You can upgrade them when they prove they can be trusted) b. Any web site entry that requires an email address. c. People who tag your email to group lists and forward stupid crap. More or less, your internet junkie friends. If you're one of these people, please don't read any farther. 3. The second email address is for your friends that could go either way. They may be group list idiots or they're on the verge of becoming internet junkies. It's also a "clearing area" for people you just met but feel they may be trustworthy. If you find one of these people to be worthy you can move them to email address 3. 4. The third email address is for all the people you can trust. Warn them if they do slap you with a forward list, send stupid crap or hand your name out, tell them you’re going to kill them. 5. Checking email #1 & #2 is almost easy. I only check it if they say “did you get my email?” You shouldn't have that many names to check. Check it by "from" name only. Just delete everything else. Checking email #3 will have you smiling. I get "0" spam on email #3 .... but I've had to kill 2 friends. (JK)
