I have Spyware!!! A window keeps popping up on my taskbar telling me that there is a system alert, and that I need to click on this link and download the software, but then it tries to open 20 windows explorer windows. Is there something that I CAN download that will get rid of this?
If you can get to it, visit Ewido at http://www.ewido.net. Run the "Scan Now" on the left hand side of the screen (next to the guy with the laptop). If you can get this to run, it should clean the problem for you.
I agree with you Ken, Linux is much better than anything windows or as we say win-dohs! Expensive but worth every cent. I have adaware and try to keep it updated, I will get the Spybot though, I have heard good things about it. I did get the ewido program to run, and it did go away, at least for now. Thanks guys, you are a great help, as always.
FREE? Every time I have come across being able to use it, the person that owns it told me that he had to pay almost a grand for the software! Well crap, just goes to tell you, I am truly computer retarded Sorry
When you guys use these foreign languages I feel blessed that when I turn on my windows PC everything comes up in english. Also when the properprotections are in place, it is a reliable tool.
