Can someone tell me how to post pictures... either off the internet or ones that you have saved on your computer. I'd appreciate it.
ok if it is off of the internet here are the steps. Right under the subject box is a "Img" button. Click on that first and it will put a in the text box. Right click on the picture that you want to post and go to properties. It should show you the link associated with the picture. Copy the whole link and past it after the IMG. Then right after the link puch the "Img" button again so it should look like this http://www.?????.com/????/????
Not possible, unless you are running a webserver on your PC so that it is providing access to those pictures to the Internet. (Not likely something you would want to do, as that would also give you additional security issues to deal with.) Do a Google search for "free image hosting" and you'll find plenty of places offering the service. Make sure you select one that allows for "external linking".
photobucket.com will allow external linking and it's free! I just upload the pics on my computer to my account there, and then link them here with the img tag.
When you link a pic from a website, how do you resize it to better fit? I saw someone do it a while back but the thread was deleted before I wrote it down.

Through file explorer right click on the file and choose “Open With” Choose “Microsoft Photo Editor” Choose “Image” then “Resize” Then chose the size you want the picture (also good for Avatars)
I had seen, a while back, where when someone posted a link to a website picture they included something like size=100x100 in the link name. So the link looked something like [ url]www.4042.com/...size=100x100[/url]. That way it doesn't have to be yours to manipulate.
