how to change wave file to a mp3

ok please tell how the heck do i change a wave file to a mp3 ? :?

im trying to load music to myspace page with only take mp3s and everything in my computer is in wave format. im using xp with window player.

any help would be great thanks!!

Its called "encoding" (Just to make it easier to search.)

 

If you would like to "learn" how to get a quality MP3, go to this link and do a little reading. They also have a great freeware ripper. Coming from WAV to MP3 or 4 is not going to have much quality. After reading this site you may find you want a dual conversion befor the final copy.
