Ok, now that I have your attention, I really do need your help, and you are the best computer whiz I have heard of. Take a Bow. 8) I am trying to burn some sound files to a CD, but the problem is, that it will play on my computer, but not on my stereo. The files are MIDI, and I think I need to convert them to wav or mp3 files, but I only have Windows Media Player, and Real One Player. I cant find any way to re format them. HELP!!!!! any suggestions? P.S. Any help from another source than Ken is also welcome, I just thought I would stroke Kens ego for a minute  although he is known as the best computer geek of all times.
I don't want to step on any toes  , but here is some info I found on the web. http://www.notationmachine.com/midi_to_wave.htm The Cooledit program they mention, has been replaced by Audacity. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ If this doesn't seem to work, there are some How-to's on using Itunes http://www.apple.com for the same process. Itunes will also create the CD when done. Good Luck.
You can try these also: http://convert-midi.com/midi-to-mp3.shtml http://www.mymusictools.com/midi_tools_20/midi_converter_studio_26073.htm I haven't tried them but seems like a great place to look. I was just recommended Adobe Audition for some sound work but I haven't done the research on it yet. It came from a very reliable source though.
I downloaded Itunes, and put all the files in a playlist, then clicked convert to wav, but it will not burn to a CD It tells me that there are no songs in the playlist, but they are all there AND CHECKED!!! Grrrrrr. This is really annoying. Help?
Sorry Ken, I didn't see that in your post before I sent them to your email address from your website, I could not figure out how to email them from 4042. Sorry computer re-My Friend in the house
