The Kroger in Garner on Timber is closed due to water damage in the store. It has been closed since Saturday and will remain closed while they attempt to fix the roof. I had my prescription transferred out of there today just in case they are closed for a long time.
Bummer! I drove down there Sat. specifically because they had milk on sale and chicken breast, hadn't realized they were still closed!
The woman at Food Lion who informed me that Kroger was closed actually told me that the roof caved in! I called Kroger before I posted just to make sure and the pharmacist said it had not caved in, but was very water damaged. I wonder what mold issues they now have in the store regarding the air. And what about water damage to the products? Would you want 3 week old warm, moldy water dripping on your food containers? I hope they can get it up and running soon. This has been a costly experience for them, I am sure.
