I have a mini-dv camera and I have alot of the mini-dv tapes that I have saved movie moments of my daughter on them. Does anyone know how I can convert them to dvd. I have a laptop with a 100 gig hard drive and 1 gig memory. There is about 80 gig of hard drive space left. I was thinking about going to buy an external hard drive that has firewire capability, but I don't know if this would work for the transfer of the movies. Thanks in advance.
