Great full size HP at Staples for $379 - $30 rebate = $349 right now. Core 2 duo, 15.6 widescreen, 2 GIG ram, ..... Don't buy the one that's $319, $30 more will get you so much more PC. They have 2 left in the Fuquay Varina store, call to check.

Netbook battery life ratings are very misleading in the ads you see. When you get your new netbook or laptop do yourself a favor and google "Maintaining my laptop battery". It will extend the life by 2 fold if you apply a few methods of use and maintenance. If you don't, you'll get 9 months at best.

also alot of the netbooks that I have seen on display in stores do not have a cd/dvd player built in.

I just got a MiFi. Works great and was easy to set up.
