Can anyone shed some light on why all of a sudden I can't see any media on MySpace or ShoutLife? I have searched for updates for Windows, IE1 and Media Player, but have not fixed the problem.

    Any advice is appreciated.

"Windows, IE1 and Media Player" ???? Not enough info to resolve your problem!

Which O/S are you using ... XP?? Which IE are you using 5, 6, 7?? Which media player are you using 9, 10, 11??

    Try this first:
    Open windows media player:
    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. Click the Player tab, click to select the Download codecs automatically check box, and then click OK.
    3. Try the web site with the WMP. If you are prompted to install the codec, click Install.

If you have media player 10, go here: http://support.microsoft.com/ph/7658

If you have media player 11, go here: http://support.microsoft.com/ph/11372

    You tube is GTG.

    XP Home
    IE7
    WMP 11

WMP does not ask for the codec thing when I try to open a URL. It just says it can't do it.

The support pages weren't much help either.

By Flash Player, do you mean Adobe?

Thanks for all the input. I really appreciate it.

Thanks everyone for responses. I re-installed a program and everything seems to be working properly. It appears to be a ShockWave issue.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!
