So.... Kiddo #1 plays travel softball. Last year she was accepted to a team, and we paid the annual fee (which isn't cheap) and things were going well. Halfway into the year, the team disbanded (the coach left and took half the team), so Kiddo hasn't been able to play ball until now (fall tryouts for other teams). So.... She made another team, she's very excited and we're excited for her. Unfortunately, it's another team fee, and it's rather pricey, $550. The reason I'm posting here is that we were told by team management that she could solicit donations and/or sponsors to pay for part of it. She's also willing to work for the money (she's only 12, so she's kind of limited as to what she can do). If any of you need an extra tax deduction, feel so inclined, want someone to come walk your dogs, etc... Please let me know. We feel it's important to keep kids busy in positive activities so that they stay out of trouble, and softball is important to her. Thanks in advance! Jen
