Does anyone ever have a need for packing peanuts?? I usually have lots and finally started throwing them away. I hate to do this. If someone will use them I will start saving them again!!
post them on craig's list or freecycle (freecycle is a yahoo group where people offer and ask for free things, and packing peanuts is a big thing people want, especially those who do ebay.
Peanuts come in handy for more than just packing. DH's family tends to do prank Christmas gifts.. One year we took a big box, put a gift certificate on the bottom, covered that with a cardboard sheet that was attached to the lid with a string, and filled it with peanuts between the sheet and the lid. The bottom of the box was glued extra good so the receiver had no choice but to lift the lid high enough to remove the bottom sheet to reach the goody! Popcorn was EVERYWHERE! Then it was their job to get rid of it! :mrgreen: HO HO HO and MEERRRRRY CHRISTMAS!
