Hello Guys, We finally have a new 'puter - yahoooo, finally. Now I'm trying to re-load all the software we had on the old one, the stuff I need... Like PALM oper. system. But I cannot find my PALM system disk. So I looked at a few Palm websites but the downloadable s/w was all system 4.x or newer. I need system 3.0.2- or 3.0. Anyone have a disk I could borrow or could anyone burn me a disk? TIA, Kel
Give this link a try: http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/dt303.html (Note that it installs 3.01, even through it says 3.03)
Follow-up Question We now have windows XP - the PALM site does not mention 3.0X working w/ XP? Any ideas?
Itis Sooooo OLD. it's a PALM "Pilot" no number or anything. B&W screen, no e-mail or anything fancy. But I use the he77 out of it.
Whew! A "Pilot!" Now THAT is an oldie goldie! You may be caught "in-between" on this one. Palm doesn't guarantee compatibility with Windows XP and earlier editions: http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/...K=2314,Sxi=15,useTemplate=Case.tem,CASE=10976 Here's a good chart of all their models, (past and present) and links to upgrades: http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/...,K=1824,Sxi=9,useTemplate=Case.tem,CASE=10714 If you use it a lot, it might be time to treat yourself to a new model to go with that new PC! The color screens are waaayyyyyyyyy easier to read! 8)
Yes, I know the Pilot is a fossil. It has been SO MUCH better then my last PALM (an IIIex). It does what I need and does not eat batteries. So Back to step ONE... I tried the download - No Luck - my dial up timed out & yacked it. Anyone have a PALM software Disk??
