Most of the time you can get a rain check during triples (although during this last round of triples some stores posted that you couldn't but then they gave them out anyway). BUT the triple couponing will not apply on rain checks used after the triple promotion has ended. I can understand why since they would loose so much more money on rain checks for the many items they run out of during triples.
