Thanks for all the help on Itunes album covers. Got that done.
Still working on resolving the video issue with the NVidia on my one pc

But onto another pc. Anyone have any RDram laying around collecting dust. got an older Dell pc that takes that kind of memory. It has four slots and can handle up to 2 gig of ram. Can't seam to find any on craigslist or wake freecycle Figure I should check here to see if any of the other computer geeks have any laying around.

    Thanks

    Bob V.

When using RDRAM and wanting to fill a 4 slot board you should really match the 4 ram sticks.

Ebay is your cheapest shot for that type of ram in sets. Also, you'll need to list if it's PC or RIMM, and the clock speed for someone to check if they have your ram type.

I know about having to match ram. Before I go to ebay to look I wanted to see if any of the computer people around here had any laying around. Its just that I am out of work and back in school. Funds are very tight right now and any excess money goes to bills. Buying memory is not a high priority.

According to Dells web page for the Dell Dimension 8250, this is the type of memory:

    Type: PC800 or PC1066 RDRAM (non-ECC)

    Memory connectors: four

    Memory capacities: 64-, 128-, 256-, and 512-MB non-ECC

    Memory speed:
    PC800: 40 ns or faster
    PC1066: 32 ns or faster

    Memory type
    1.5 GB for PC1066 - PC 1066 (non-ECC) only on computers with a 533-MHz system clock speed
    2 GB for PC800 - PC 800 (non-ECC) on computers with either a 400- or a 533-MHz system clock speed

    System clock: 100 MHz X 4 for 400 FSB or 133 MHz X 4 for 533 FSB - data rate
