OK, so this technically doesn't belong in the PC Help Desk forum, but I figured it'd get lost in the drama of the others Anyway, I would like to get some type of device that can record both sides of a phone conversation and is portable. So if I'm at home, I can hook it up real easy, unhook it and then take it with me to work and use it there. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
Not casting any accusations here (I don't know your purpose or plans) but isn't there a requirement that you notify all parties on the line that you are recording the conversation? Again, just curious, if there isn't I also need to watch some of my conversations.
If it's just to prove that a situation is occuring, no court, then I don't believe there is a need to notify them.
I bought a little suction cup microphone with a mini jack that I put to a mini voice recorder. It will also work with an MP3 player that records. Then you have a digital recording. It worked great. ($14) http://www.music123.com/Peterson-Suction-Cup-Microphone-i85528.music
