Recently had to rebuild my computer because the hard drive got virused. One new hard drive later, my Frontpage website is gone. Is there a way to recover the site in Frontpage? And, yes, I know you guys hate Frontpage, but it's all I know at this point. Thanks for any help.

Grab a copy from your host provider.

Chuck, welcome back! Missed your humor.

I recently had the same problem (hard drive died an untimely death) and through the publish feature of Frontpage I was able to have it go out to the web site and place a copy of the web pages on my hard drive (I pulled it off without having to use that damed thing called a manual). Make sure you run the link diagnostic after you do this.

Reinstall Frontpage first. Then open your website live by opening a web at http:://www.yoursite.com (just use whatever your url is) Then publish it from server to local.
