My daughter has a Fisher Price Kid Tough camera that has a Lexar 1G SD card in it. Whenever I view the photos on the camera there are over 100 photos on the camera. When I use a USB cable to take download the photos on my laptop there are no pictures to be found just 4 gibberish folders and icons that don't make any sense. If I take the SD card out of the camera and put it in the laptop I get the same type of folders, but I can not view the photos. There is no software that came with the camera and I have downloaded photos from this card several times. If you have any ideas on how I can view these photos or get them off of the SD I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Maybe your card lost its format some how...
have you tried formating the card again?

I don't remember if I formatted it last time I downloaded from it. I don't want to format it until I get the pictures off of it.

    Yes, I understand.
Have you tried taking it to CVS , download the pic's onto a CD.
Then formatting? Wonder if CVS could pull up the pic's///

No I haven't tried that. That is a good idea. I will try to run in there this afternoon to just give it a try.

Are you sure the images are stored on the SD card and not stored in the camera's built-in memory?

I pulled the card out of the camera to make sure they are not on the camera memory. I have tried to retrieve them using some free software, but I had not tried Lexar software. I will give that a try also. Thanks.
