Stopped by the Lowe's Foods in Garner this morning on my way in to work, saw a few other couponers, but no one from here. :(

Did a short 30 minute trip.

$47.16 worth of stuff for $3.36!

    Woohoo!

I did 5 trips and bought $309.00 worth of groceries for $73. That was 76% off. I was doing better until my last time through and I got laundry soap, meat and juice (with a coupon, but not a fantastic deal)

Not too bad, I still need to go back, but I was tired!

Good grief woman! That's a lot of trips!

I hope I can make it back a few more times.

Anyone have any of those Zataran's coups, or Suave coups or Uncrustables they aren't going to use, please let me know!

Sorry, I dont have any Jenn.

Spoon-able puddings were free w/coupon... I only had one! :(

The coupon from the Lowes paper last week had a coupon for $5 back when you buy 10 Betty Crocker items and Hamburger helper was on sale (and lots of coupons out there) and so was their potato mixes... so that was nice.

    Some Colgates were on sale.

I'll have to look over my reciepts and see what was a good deal.

My first trip through I only owed $1.75. I was so excited. :)

I got two of the Spoonables, didn't see the Lowes coup from last week, I'll have to look at Mom and Dads, I'm sure they still have the paper.

    Here's what I got.

    2 Hunt's Spoonables -Free
    4-Betty Crocker Warm Delights -Free
    2-Smuckers Uncrustables-$1 each
    4-Aquafresh toothpaste-.30 each
    2-Bush Homestyle chili-.16 each
    1-Colgate toothpaste-. 75
    2-Zatarains complete meals- Free
    2-Kraft Handi Snacks- Free
    1 bag Lifesaver mints-free
    2-Suave haircare products-Free

The Bush's chili is FAB deal! I'd like to have some more of those coups too. I can't remember what I ordered from TCC, but they shipped yesterday, so maybe they will be here by Friday.

le, you're welcome, and sorry I had to cut you short on the phone. Dang job is interferring with my social time! LOL

BTW-I posted this on the other thread, but I have an envelope full of coupons if anyone wants them. They've been picked thru several times, but they're still good. Any takers?

Jen, I've got a Crustables coupon.

    How were those pears?

Sweet Cleo, when can I get it?

The pears are good. I let them sit too long, so some of them had to be thrown out, but the rest are in my frig and come to find out, no one else in my house wants to eat them, so baby and I are enjoying them immensely!

I need laundry detergent, milk, sugar, and meat.

Still not in the greatest mood to shop. Don't feel the love of the triples right now. Guess I'd better get on to the store anyway. Need clean clothes.

Ok, I have been reading all this stuff, but (and don't think I am dumb), but have never done this triple coupon things before. To be honest (and don't come down on me for this either), but haven't used coupons that much. For one, sometimes I can find some of the off name stuff (that I use and like) cheaper than the name brand with the coupon and second, I tend to leave coupons at home and they expire before I use them because most of the time my shopping is spur of the moment type stuff. If I am out and about and need something, I go get it and whatever else I can think of at the time. I know, I know...not good, but I am so busy all the time, I never remember stuff. But if I am understanding right, Lowes will take manufactuer (sp) coupons up to 99 cents and triple them? If so, might have to check this out before it is over. Ladies, don't get on me too badly for not doing this or even being sure of what I am doing. :?

FF, no time like the present! Yes, if you have a Lowe's card (you can get one at customer service) they will triple up to 20 coupons on one order with a face value of up to 99 cents. So a 50 cent coupon is actually worth $1.50 right now. You have to have $35 worth of stuff BEFORE card and coupons, but I've never had trouble doing that. Faye has got a class coming up Nov 6th at the Clayton Center, well worth your time and the admission, best money I ever spent! :D

I do have a Lowes card. Don't think I will be able to make it to the class in Nov. Will be packing and getting ready to go to Indianapolis to see my grandmother (almost 90 years old) and my folks and go to the Bands of America Grand Nationals to watch my son and Clayton High School participate in it. You know how it is right before a trip...working late, cleaning, packing, etc. All that fun stuff. But will keep things in mind! Thanks!!!!!

Headed home now.....have to finish helping my son pack for his trip to Floridia. He has to be at the school before 6:00 AM to head to St. Petersburg for a competiton.

Guess what??? Went to Lowes tonight. Took what coupons I had and got about $250 for a little over $100! WOW I was surprised!!!! I am glad I went and thanks for filling me in on this. Have to start saving more coupons from the paper!

Now I am tired and still have to finish helping my son. Thanks ladies!!!
