I have a video approx 35 minutes long. You Tube will not accept anything over 10 minutes. I tried Google Video but I cannot maintain a connection. Does anyone know a good, reputable site I can share this video through.
hmmm... well, one option is to split the video into 3 10 minute segments and put it on youtube. Google video is your best bet, although it takes a while to get submitted. just throwing out a few google tech articles that might help: http://video.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=57832&topic=11469 http://video.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=34706&topic=11469 http://video.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=59037&topic=11469
I think i started in the wrong place. Could you give me the file type, and size? Also are you uploading through google video's website, or the google video uploader?
Google Desktop Uploader I got the uploader downloaded and it is running. Very, very slowly....but running
Well that failed miserably, it went as high at 77Mb after 5 hrs then down to 13! ***!!!!!!!:banghead:
If you have Yahoo...you can send me the video that way and I can either host it for you (Have my own server) or I can shrink it for you...Just let me know.
Along the same lines, where can one host audio files? Say you want to mix and mash some music. And is it legal?
If you own the CD's and converted them to MP3's...then its legal...as long as you aren't making them available for down load. you can set up a media player so people can listen to them, but not copy them. If you want an example...goto subliminalracing.com (my website) and on the top 1/4 of the page to the right (where it says sign in) you'll see the words "vb player" click on that and it will pop up a virtual Ipod that has play lists on it. Hope that answers your question
