I write my church ENewsletter and send it out via email to members. What I'd like to do is to include some nice Praise and Worship songs, Hymns, etc as part of some devotional material within the newsletter. I initially considered linking some youtube links, but have reconsidered since the comments people post about any youtube song/upload are completely unedited and some folks just can't type 2 words without getting vulgar and profane. Is there a way to upload cuts from my own CD's to a server somewhere and then link those to the newsletter? Or, is there a site somewhere with links that are NOT subject to unedited comments that can be read by anyone viewing the link? Thanks in advance for any advice. Kent
Can't you do it on an MP3 file?? BTW- I know how to check my e-mail, post on the board, do QB, put stuff on the schedule and that's about it! Maybe the computer geeks can help you in the am  Love them
Ken, thanks for those great suggestions; I'll definitely look into those ideas and PM you at a later date. I did see that AOL and Yahoo had some music videos I could use until I get up to speed on your suggestions. AOL or Yahoo doesn't allow any comments so I don't have that worry to contend with. Thanks again for the input. Kent
Ken you are right about so many on MySpace. My only drawback/concern to the MySpace account is that others can leave their link on MySpace thru a "friend" who visits and leave their picture/address. There may be ways to prevent others from leaving anything as I do not mess with. Only thing I know about it is what I've seen from my kids and a few band sites I've visited. But it could be linking a church site to a not so acceptable one elsewhere on MySpace. However I would suggest going the website route as Ken suggested. Places like GoDaddy.com are very reasonable in price. I think it's like $4 a month for the package that I host our church's website on there.
Unless you have created the music or performing music from the public domain or creative commons, there might be legal issues about creating and posting an MP3 online.
