My hard drive disappeared last night on my old refurbised Dell. I can't stand using my kids tower too much longer.

    Thanks!

You didn't give what your budget was but here's a good list of Sony's for price averaging:

If you looking for a moderate machine at one heck of a price this is a good choice. It doesn't have the same graphics as Sony and it's a 14" screen but the motherboard and hardware are pretty good. Acer has crap for warranty so by the onsite 2 year extended for $159 or a 1 year for $129. For a $9 expedited fee you can have the rebate back in 6 days instead of 6 weeks.
