Hi folks. I inherited a friends moms HP. I finally set it up this evening and booted it up. It comes up with her moms name and prompting for a password. Her mom had alzheimer's so she doesn't remember the password. I tried password, also 123456. I read somewhere to put a thumb drive in and it will prompt you to reset the password. Nope didn't work. Any suggestions of getting it unlocked. As I am typing this I am thinking if when I boot up if i hit F12 won't it prompt me to go in as safe mode and then go and delete her account. Thanks Bob
