Here is my question. I have a Dlink model DL-524 I have a network cable attached to it to my sony vaio desktop. Attached To my Sony i have a Canon S300. I also have a Dell laptop (without the burning battery). I had gotten with it a Dell printer. My question is, what hardware do i need to make both my Dell printer and my Canon printer accessable to both my desktop and my laptop so i can print to either printer from either PC? I stopped at Best Buy today and saw a wireless print router from Linksys, but it cost 99.00 (way to freaking much) and it looked like it was for only one printer and would it work with Dlink.
1.) Any cheaper wireless print server solutions
2.) I am in the computer field and reseaching it with my co workers.
3.) Best Buy computer Geeks are about as useful as teets on a bull. I am not cute and i dont wear short skirts. So i couldnt get one of them over to even talk to me.

I am still trying to teach myself all the ins and outs of wireless networks

Well i finally got it to work. I had thought maybe my printer wasnt capable of handling being shared. I went into the driver properties after i had shared it out and saw that it was set to shared and it stated that windows firewall was already configured for it. Well that firewall is turned off since i use zone alarm. I checked zone alarm and couldnt see where it would be set. So i went to zone alarms web page and found what setting i had to change. Once i hit apply on my pc and went searching for printers on my laptop it found it.

    Thanks Ken

The only problem i am seeing now is that i am being prompted for my old dial up when ever i go and open a web page and occasionally when i do a refresh on my outlook express. I click cancel and it goes away and i can go to my webpages and also get my email.

i am currenly on sprint dsl.

Any thoughts on how to stop it from bringing up my old dial up prompt?

I have just been to busy to try to poke around the network settings to get it to stop.
